I am a jeweler and for days I was working with kiln without any gloves.
The temperature you see on my photos is in Celsius, which is around 1400 Fahrenheit. So imagine taking out something with tweezers from an oven that is SO HOT without gloves.
Good points: These oven gloves are much more practical than oven mitts because I can safely remove hot items from the oven. This is why I chose gloves over mitts, which are cumbersome and impractical, in my opinion. I got the black ones which wash up nicely in cold water.
I was nervous that they won't withstand this heat and catch on fire lol. But they work amazing and don't warm up! I'm happy that I can be more safe right now. My hand is medium size and they fit me just so I can take them off easily.
